I found myself needing a website. Like so many do I could have paid someone to create one for me. The problem with that strategy is that I knew I’d always be dependent on paying someone for any updates to the site. I also knew I’d be making many changes and additions to the site in the months to come. I had some experience with HTML, but that was in the distant past and so much had changed since then.

Enter John Howell. John reeducated me on building a WordPress site. He gave me the tools and coaching I needed to get back in the game. With his instruction I built and designed my new website. When I ran into trouble, John was there to help me problem solve. Months later and I routinely make changes, add new content, and just today created a landing page for a Google ad I will be running.

I know what I am doing now because of John’s help. He is not just technically minded, but he is an educator and coach. John can build your website if that is what you want. He will provide you with a sharp, modern design. However, if you desire to be self-sufficient with your website in the long run John is your man. I highly recommend working with John.

Upon entering a “new norm” for what the church looks like post-COVID, we as a church were looking at how we could be doing more than just providing a gathering for those who were a part of the church–to expand our reach and discover new territory to reach the lost, in particular through our digital spaces. So we reached out to John for a consult.

John observed and learned our DNA so he could best understand who we were and who we were not–he was able to strategically target the areas in our digital spaces where we may have been misrepresenting ourselves, where we could have been doing more to show who we were. He analyzed and gave feedback on our social media presence, helped us develop a framework on how to engage on current and future social platforms, and provided resources and strategies to continue chasing new spaces where we could have an impact on people outside of our echo chambers.

Because of John’s wisdom and skills, we have seen and had interactions with people who have never entered our physical locations, and we are poised to have greater impact on those we never would have had an opportunity to reach with our former social media presence. AdminMatch was a great resource for our non-profit. We have had success in many areas but were unorganized and didn’t have many of our processes or systems down in writing. This, of course, led to many inefficiencies and when we duplicated our process to include a second location many things were lost in translation. John came to us and listened to us. He took note of what was working and what wasn’t. 

He came up with an amazing company handbook for us that listed all our processes, our job descriptions and protocols.
